Murad Restorative Hydro-Hyaluronic Cream Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I'm glad I waited for the frosty weather to kick in before writing about the Murad Restorative Hydro-Hyaluronic Cream because it's coming into its own for my skin which is not holding moisture in the way it usually does. Taking Dora for wintery walks is a challenge because she's so tiny and gets cold quickly so after I've wrestled her into her fleecy coat that she hates, I've been adding an extra layer of moisture with Hydro-Hyaluronic. It's definitely helped in preventing my skin from feeling taut and chapped.

To cut through the marketing, Murad Restorative Hydro-Hyaluronic Cream is a gift for dry and/or rough skin. It works immediately to give hydration and also, over a two week period, you can expect to see softer and smoother skin. The ingredient focus is around barrier repair so even if you have sensitive skin, you should be able to use this.

I like the way that the cream feels on my skin - it's not heavy at all and actually, I'd say it feels a bit underwhelming if you're expecting a hefty barrier, but since I'm not swimming the channel any time soon (or ever), I don't need or want a slathering of unguent. We're a bit conditioned into thinking that heavy equals better when it comes to moisture and that really isn't the case, especially not with Hydro-Hyaluronic.

Its previous incarnation was Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture but the formula, which contains various hyaluronic weights has had a few thing added to it for more efficacy. Shea butter, sunflower oil and coconut extract - the latter to help prevent moisture loss and the former to lock it in. As you can see, my sample is refill friendly and soon you'll be able to buy refills for your original purchase pot. At £65 HERE, it's a considered purchase. The one thing I’d point out is that it has a strange smell that disappears soon after applying - it’s a little bit like castor oil to my nose.

I'm going to suggest instead that you look at the Hydrate Trial Kit which is on offer for £30 HERE instead of £37 (value £97). It also gives you the AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser (which, if you use in combination with the Hydro-Dynamic - the aforementioned previous incarnation of Hydro-Hyaluronic - will give you the smoothest skin of your life) and the Multi-Vitamin Infusion Oil. I say this because the formulas are not radically different and you'll get a good feel for it, and along with the other products (I'd say there is at least a month's worth) a solid idea of how the regime can help your dry skin. You'll soon know if you want to upsize.
