[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] This QVC special offer is so good that it has a post of its own. With a price tag of £71.95, it contains £243 worth of products and really, I cannot argue in any way that it's not an absolute bargain.

As soon as I see the words 'frangipane monoi' I'm in bliss. This, to me, is my ultimate Elemis product because of the aroma which has the ability to drift you to a desert island while you lie in your bath tub. It just smells of all things joyful, holidayish and beachy although in the set you will get a choice of Frangipane Monoi, Vanilla Orchid or Lime and Ginger. The sturdy red box (3 colours available) contains Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm 50g, Pro-Collagen Marine Cream 30ml, Pro-Collagen Marine Mask 75ml, Soothing Apricot Toner 200ml, and a Bath & Shower Milk 300ml and Velvet Body Butter 100ml in your choice of fragrance.

I'll also flag up the Pro-Collagen Marine Mask which behaves just as I expect a mask to. Face masks have undergone a revolution in the past few years - sheet masks, rubber masks, gel masks and so on, but this one is a good, traditional creamy mask that makes your skin feel softer and much more hydrated. If you like your masks on the traditional side, this is for you.

It goes without saying that the Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm is one of the very best balms that money can buy - it's got a more-ish quality that means you don't want to stop massaging it into your skin and obviously, massage gets the blood flowing and is just generally a very nice thing to do for yourself. Never rush this stage because it's so lovely! It's not for good reason that Pro-Collagen Marine Cream is so popular - my sister has been a fan for years and never wavered which is the sort of brand loyalty that every brand wishes for. That's the thing about Elemis - they do what they do so well that unless you actively love swapping and trying new brands, you never really need to look elsewhere because everything is covered.

I know we are heading into Christmas shopping season but I think this is well worth considering as a gift to self. Winter is tough but looking after your skin doesn't need to be - quite honestly, the thought of a Frangipani Monoi hot soak, with my face smothered in the Pro-Collagen Marine Mask is just asking for a Mai Tai and a good book to while away a very happy hour.
