The older I get, the more I understand why Barbara Daly numbered her original Colourings range. Names for products are literally bonkers now.

The powder looks interesting even though it looks more pink to me. I wish it came in the mini version since that is all I would need. The liquid blush looks okay. I just wonder how the color compares to Nars Wanderlust.

I imagine that it will eventually come as mini.

I’ve had a Google and there’s a lilac drink called Ube Cream Liqueur - I’m guessing that’s the inspiration here?

I actually really like these colours and think they’re fun. I always like things that are a bit different.

Jane, In the photo with lilac blush applied, I think you look really fresh and like you’ve just been on a brisk spring walk, perhaps spotting crocuses peeping through?! I would definitely wear it myself.

I would totally drink that! I quite like the blush - maybe in spring :-)

I don’t get it either, even the name Electric Lilac puts me off. Definitely leave it to cool people under the age of 30, and the Care Bears as well. Any shade of lilac or pink especially around my eyes, make me look like I’ve been up crying all night.

I would wear lilac or pink on my lids - supported by plenty of mascara and liner - it’s a very stark look without either of those things!
