i got this a few weeks ago and its so funny how well you described how it feels at first! - I thought it was too "heavy" for me - but its actually what I ve reached for teh most over the last few weeks - I am the palest shade and it always makes me happy when someone does a good pale shade that doenst go orange as well !
I've had mine a few weeks, and really like it. Having a real neutral undertone, I did hesitate on the colour though, either 28-fair neutral warm, or 26-fair neutral cool. In the end I went for 28, and it works very well. Is it useful having an SPF50, for me not really, as I'm only outside long enough to get in a car, outside at the other end and vice-versa. But for the time I am outside I guess it works..
Too true, especially when you’ve not used a product before. Being able to get samples beforehand would be a great help. There must be so many people who’ve spent so much money making mistakes buying the wrong colour 😯!
I have this in the palest shade (I’m super pale, with a cool tone) and it works really well as a match for me. It feels lovely to use and is neither drying nor too shiny (“dewy” often = greaseball, for me). BUT I find it has very very little coverage, so it’s not my first choice if my skin isn’t great.
Merit is a brand that I am trying to my hands onto once I can get a physical store and try them out. There seems to be so many cult products. The brand somehow give me a glimpse of Hourglass.

That’s good to know - I’m always keen for feedback on different tones to my own so thank you.

It’s quite hard to pick shades confidently with this :-)

I agree :-)

I hear you - it's really just a hint of a tint but it was enough for me.

I’m not really a fan of Hourglass - Merit seems more accessible really.
Hourglass is really hit and miss for me. except the ambient and bronzing powders, i don't see myself getting any other products really..
Exactly - the palettes are covetable but nothing much else is.
That looks really gorgeous, Jane! 😍
It’s a good one :-)
Looks nice Jane, def going on the list. I need all new make up, and I hate feeling foundationy in any way.
You’ll probably feel it at first and then not at all :-)
