A friend had the last of her brunette colouring cut off, a few months ago, and now she’s completely grey. Her hairdresser recommended L’Oreal Professional Serie Expert Silver shampoo and conditioner for neutralising and brightening. Her hair looks lovely, and it’s not that expensive either.
It’ll be my turn next, but I’ve got a few more inches of colour to grow out before I’m completely grey. Then I shall leave it in the hands of a hairdresser 💇🏻♀️.
Oohhh this is SO interesting! Wow, your hair looks gorgeous, and I KEEP hearing amazing things about Oribe (eg the mists, and dry shampoo?). I might need to push the button - and this is great that the range is expanding to luxe silver care! 😀🤍👏
They're actually revamping it so it should come back even better. The dry shampoo isn't my favourite of their products - if you can wait, sets quite often come up in the sale after Christmas and that's when to strike!
I wouldn’t pay that no matter how much I love my silvers!! Couldn’t afford it tbh. I can see what a difference it’s made tho in the before and after. I’ve played around with so many in all the years I’ve been grey now. I’ve never really found one that hits the spot. The one I’ve used for the longest is Plantur 39 in the lilac bottle. For some reason it’s hard to find altho the green one is everywhere 💜
I'd love to try this. I hadn't realized the difference between blond shampoo and silver shampoo. I was using the Christophe Robin but it's for blondes. I find it brings back some 'ash' but I want to try Silverati to see if it's better. The mask from CR is really moisturizing. (If I have the patience to leave it more than 10 seconds...) I find it annoying when foundation or blush get in the hairline of gray hair. Mine is salt and pepper. . The white hairs in that area turn an unsightly yellow from the pignments. Tinted sunscreen does this too. Sometimes I pull those strands into my cleansing balm. That doesn't seem to save these strands from staining. Maybe I should try make-up brush cleanser! Thanks for the tips!
Oooffffff……. I’m searching for the Elvive Silver range to no avail. This Oribe range looks great but way out of this pensioners budget
I agree - very pricy :-)

It’s hard to grow out - I took the lazy way!
Yes, that's on my list of products to try.

Meant to say that I really love your hair, too. Think I've said it before here or Insta but it suits you so much x
Thanks Sharon :-) And I agree... it's a LOT to spend on hair care but it is really impressive (as it should be!).
